Mass Timber Gravity Connection Design and Detailing

Sub Title Goes Here

Determining the appropriate connection styles and requirements early in the design phase of a mass timber project can significantly impact the project budget, installation complexity, schedule, and even the sizing of mass timber structural elements. This webinar focuses on the critical role that gravity-loaded connections play in the success of a mass timber project, emphasizing their importance in ensuring structural integrity, meeting aesthetic goals, and complying with design codes. Participants will explore how the structural properties of mass timber influence connection design, focusing on the criteria outlined in the American Wood Council’s National Design Specification® (NDS®) for Wood Construction.
